چکیده

A magnetically separable palladium nanocatalyst has been synthesized through the immobilization of onto 3-aminopropylphenanthroline Schiff based functionalized silica coated superparamagnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles. The (Fe3O4@SiNSB-Pd) was fully characterized using several spectroscopic techniques, such as FT-IR, HR-SEM, TEM, XRD, ICP, and XPS. microscopic image showed spherical shape morphology had an average size 150 nm. Pd-nanoparticles exhibited 3.5 ± 0.6 successful functionalization Fe3O4@SiNSB-Pd identified by FT-IR spectroscopy appearance species in confirmed XRD analysis. While XPS utilized for determination chemical oxidation state Fe3O4@SiNSB-Pd. Several activated deactivated arene halides olefines were employed Mizoroki-Heck cross-coupling reactions presence Fe3O4@SiNSB-Pd, each which produced respective products with excellent yields. shows good reactivity reusability up to seven consecutive cycles.

Synthesis, Characterization and Catalytic Study of a Novel Binuclear Paddle-wheel Palladium(II) Complex in the Mizoroki-Heck Reaction

A new binuclear paddle-wheel palladium(II) complex of [Pd2(μ-mtzt)4]dmgH2 (1) has been prepared by the treatment of PdCl2 in acetonitrile with mixture of 1-methyl-1H-1,2,3,4-tetrazole-5-thiol (Hmtzt) and dimethylglyoxime (dmgH2) in methanol. Resulted complex was characterized by elemental analysis (CHNS), IR, UV–Vis absorption, 1H NMR spectroscopy and its structure was determined with single-cr...

Synthesis, Characterization and Catalytic Activity of Ligand Stabilized Palladium Nanoparticle: A Catalyst Compliment to the Heck Coupling Reaction

The palladium metal is the most frequently used metal because of its excellent catalytic efficiency and most flexible varying oxidation state. So,  we report  that palladium nanoparticles (Pd NPs) stabilized by a ligand (o-vanilindiphenylethanedionedihydrazone, L)  using reverse micelles method have been synthesized, while all particles are in spherical shape and ranging between 10 and...

Enhancement in the catalytic activity of Pd/USY in the heck reaction induced by H2 bubbling.

Pd was loaded on ultra stable Y (USY) zeolites prepared by steaming NH(4)-Y zeolite under different conditions. Heck reactions were carried out over the prepared Pd/USY. We found that H₂ bubbling was effective in improving not only the catalytic activity of Pd/USY, but also that of other supported Pd catalysts and Pd(OAc)₂. Moreover, the catalytic activity of Pd/USY could be optimized by choosi...

An effective Pd nanocatalyst in aqueous media: stilbene synthesis by Mizoroki–Heck coupling reaction under microwave irradiation

Aqueous Mizoroki-Heck coupling reactions under microwave irradiation (MW) were carried out with a colloidal Pd nanocatalyst stabilized with poly(N-vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP). Many stilbenes and novel heterostilbenes were achieved in good to excellent yields starting from aryl bromides and different olefins. The reaction was carried out in a short reaction time and with low catalyst loading, leadin...

Anionic Pd(0) and Pd(II) intermediates in palladium-catalyzed Heck and cross-coupling reactions.

The anions of PdCl(2)L(2) and Pd(OAc)(2), precursors of palladium(0) used in cross-coupling and Heck reactions, play a crucial role in these reactions. Tricoordinated anionic complexes Pd(0)L(2)Cl(-) and Pd(0)L(2)(OAc)(-) are the effective catalysts instead of the usually postulated Pd(0)L(2) complex. The anion ligated to the palladium(0) affects the kinetics of the oxidative addition to ArI as...
